Terms of service

Last updated 29 October 2026

About these terms These terms apply to everyone who uses SeeYaThen: businesses that use the app ("operators") and the clients who book with them through a booking page. SeeYaThen is operated by Point7 Studio (ABN 86 632 193 650). Contact us at support@seeyathen.app.

For clients Your booking is an agreement between you and the business. SeeYaThen provides the booking tool and does not provide the service.

The business sets its prices, cancellation and no-show policy, deposits and prepaid packs, and shows them before you confirm. You can cancel or reschedule online until the cut-off shown on the booking page; after that, contact the business.

Payments are processed by Stripe for the business. If you cancel online before the cut-off, any deposit is refunded in full. If the business records a cancellation after the cut-off, the deposit is not refunded automatically. If you do not attend, the business may keep any deposit you paid and charge the no-show fee you agreed to when you booked or through the consent link sent to you before the appointment, never more than the amount shown.

Nothing in these terms or in a business's policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your right to a remedy when a service is not provided with due care and skill.

For operators: your account You must be at least 18 and run a business in Australia. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us promptly about any unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise and for loss caused by not taking reasonable care of your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription automatically: cancel it in the billing portal first, or email us and we will cancel it.

Plans and billing The Free, Pro and Business plans and their monthly limits are described on our website. Paid plans are bought on the website, billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. An upgrade applies straight away and the difference for the rest of the month is charged then. You can cancel or downgrade at any time in the billing portal; it takes effect at the end of the paid period. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price increase, and you can cancel before it applies. When you reach a monthly limit, online booking pauses or SMS reminders fall back to email, as shown in the app.

Payments from your clients Client payments use Stripe Connect. You open your own Stripe account, accept Stripe's terms and are the seller for every payment. SeeYaThen charges no fee of its own on your clients' payments; Stripe's processing fees apply and are deducted by Stripe. You are responsible for your prices, GST, receipts, refunds and disputes.

Your responsibilities Your cancellation and no-show policy, deposits and pack terms must be lawful and fair. A no-show fee should be a reasonable estimate of what a missed appointment costs you. Do not tell clients they have no right to a refund.

Get each client's agreement before taking photos, and use the photos only for that client's records unless they give separate written permission.

Handle client information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, and send only booking-related messages through SeeYaThen.

Do not use SeeYaThen for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful, and do not try to access another business's data.

Availability We work to keep SeeYaThen running and secure, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

Liability Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where the law allows, for services not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability for failing to meet a guarantee is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. We are not responsible for loss caused by a business, a client or a third-party service such as Stripe or Google, except to the extent we caused or contributed to it.

Suspension and closing an account We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, with notice where reasonable. If we close your account when you are not at fault, we refund the unused part of any paid period.

Changes to these terms We may change these terms for legal, security or service reasons. We will tell operators about a significant change at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then. A change does not affect bookings already made.

Law These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
